Complex workings of the TV

Natalie hit the TV so Kelton went up and hit the TV.

Me: "Natalie, don't hit the TV. If you do it Kelton is going to do it too and he won't stop if you keep doing it." (I can't tell you how many times each day I say something like this)

Natalie: "Why? What will happen?"

Me: "You could break the TV."

Natalie: "Yeah, the glass would break and then all of the people will come out!"

I'm sure most kids think the same thing (even if it makes no sense) but it's still funny. Hey we still do have a tube TV so I guess you could maybe fit some people in there. I wonder what her explanation would be if we had a flatscreen...

I used to think the credits (after movies or TV shows) ran up the screen and then got caught in the top of the TV somewhere. When I got older I decided they must run out the cord and through the outlet to make room for more words.

And then (after Elaine's comment) you get old enough to realize people use a camera to make TV and I remember thinking that people had cameras a long time ago to record things like Robin Hood! Lucky they were there with a camera right when all the action happened.

That's so cute...She's so funny. I hope you are writing down all the things she comes up with so you remember!
