So what do you do when....
It's way past the kids' bedtime and you are about to take your 4 1/2 year old to bed when she comes up to you with wide brown eyes and a serious expression and asks "Mom, is it Monday?"
"Yes, it's Monday."
"Are we going to have family home evening?"
I'll tell you what you do. You have family home evening.
There's just no way you can tell your child, sorry, it's late, it's past your bedtime, I'm tired, I forgot and don't have a lesson ready... It's really a good thing we have kids around to keep us in line. And to help our forgetful memories.
